Business Outline

Established in 1996, ASG is a leading IT business solutions provider in Australia – customer focused and responsive. ASG has accumulated a wealth of knowledge in the IT services industry covering consulting, professional and managed services, hosted and Cloud services. These services are used to deliver solutions across a wide range of technologies including business intelligence, core business applications, middleware, technical and hardware infrastructure.

In recent times, ASG has pioneered a unique 'New World' consumption model for the delivery of IT business solutions. As customers move to new technology procurement and deployment practices, ASG provides advice on what technology to use, how to integrate it into core business functions and how to use it to best business effect.

In 2016, NRI acquired ASG. By this acquisition, NRI's broad consulting capabilities, global footprint strengthens ASG's client proposition and allow to properly compete for the largest tier 1 managed services contracts.

Ian Campbell

Ian Campbell recently concluded a distinguished 17 year career as a Senator for Western Australia in the Australian Federal Parliament, he brings to ASG a wealth of experience at the highest levels of the Australian Government and in reforming the Australian corporate legal framework.

Ian is a former Member of Federal Cabinet where he held the portfolios of Environment and Heritage and Human Services. As a Federal Minister he also served as Minister for Local Government, Territories and Roads. As Parliamentary Secretary to the Treasurer, Ian developed what is widely acknowledged as the most sweeping reform of business law in Australia's history, the Corporate Law Economic Reform Program (CLERP).

The CLERP reforms have been widely lauded by the business community for their improvements to Australia's governance regime. Ian has also acted as Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister for Communications, Information Technology and the Arts. Prior to entering parliament, Ian worked as a commercial and industrial property consultant, as well as acting as a director of a number of private groups.

Geoffrey Lewis established ASG with the vision of providing innovative business services to users of mid-range enterprise computer systems. Geoffrey has over 25 year experience in the delivery of Information Technology services. This experience was gained during an international career working with top tier consultants and in very large banking, insurance, commercial and government environments. He is acknowledged as a leader of the outsourcing industry in Australia and was recognized with the Entrepreneur of the Year Award in Western Australia in 2003. Geoffrey has been Managing Director of the private ASG Group since inception in 1996.

In July 2008 Geoffrey was appointed as a Board Member to the North Melbourne Football Club.
