An engineering Ph.D. with over 30 years of research and consulting experience.
He joined NRI in 1998 after teaching at Tongji University in China and Waseda University in Japan. In 2005, he took charge of consulting in the China region.
He has a wealth of international vision and experience in Chinese-foreign projects in the fields of city development strategy, industrial development strategy, the preservation of historical and cultural areas, and the large-scale urban development. He was once the project specialist for the World Bank, Asian Development Bank, and other international organizations.
He managed many key consulting projects for clients such as the People’s Bank of China, the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, the Ministry of Transport, and other national organizations, as well as the city governments of Beijing, Shanghai, Tianjin, Chongqing, and other main cities in China.
