NRI Thailand, established in 2013, provides consulting services to Japanese and local companies on business strategy and market entry, industry and market research, and regulatory trend research in the ASEAN region.
Additionally, the company provides technical assistance on institutional design and policy recommendations for ASEAN countries on behalf of international and governmental organizations.

With the full-scale launch of the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) in 2015, manufacturing and service industries have been expanding into Thailand, the geographical and economic nexus of the Mekong countries (Thailand, Vietnam, Myanmar, Cambodia and Laos).
NRI Thailand provides consulting services to Japanese companies that have expanded or are considering expanding into Thailand and other ASEAN countries. NRI Thailand has built up a track record of supporting the business expansion of many clients in multiple manufacturing industries, such as automobile, electrical machinery, food & chemicals, information & telecommunications, medical & pharmaceutical, and the service industry such as Logistics. It also has experience in proposing and building systems for clients in the manufacturing, securities and distribution industries. In addition, in recent years, NRI Thailand has co-sponsored the Thai business start-up seminars for Japanese SMEs driven by the Thai government and held management seminars to present the results of NRI Thailand’s research.
