Since taking office on January 20, US President Donald Trump has announced a host of policies aimed at realizing the pledges made during his campaign. Many of these policies have upset the existing global order and created turmoil around the world. We asked the Center for International Economy & Strategy’s Takehiko Nakao, who has spent much of his career representing Japan on the international stage, for his thoughts on how to approach recent developments.
