Building a sustainable future requires strong efforts by companies to address the social problems highlighted by the SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals)*2. In WBCSD, companies work to build a sustainable future by joining forces with other member companies from the same industry and other industries to demonstrate leadership in addressing social problems that cannot be solved by the efforts of one company alone. Understanding the global trend toward sustainability, NRI decided to join WBCSD with the aim of promoting business activities that can contribute to these goals.
