Tokyo, September 13, 2021 - NRI, a leading provider of consulting services and system solutions, announced that it has been ranked #10 in the top 100 global financial firms as determined by analyst firm IDC in their annual IDC Financial Insights Fintech Rankings.

NRI offers a wide spectrum of technology solutions for financial firms in asset management and capital markets across the globe, from back to front office needs, as well as industry leading research and consulting services for some of the world’s most prominent institutions.

NRI has continued many major initiatives in the past year, particularly as it works to guide its customers and partners through an incredibly volatile market during the COVID-19 pandemic. In Partnership with Refinitiv, NRI successfully launched its joint solution at Baird, implementing it’s I-STAR GX solution alongside Refinitiv’s BETA platform.

NRI has also continued significant growth in the Australia market. In 2020, NRI signed to acquire 100% of the shares of the Australian Investment Exchange, and the acquisition was completed in May 2021. In addition, NRI completed the purchasing of Planit Test Management Solutions, the #1 software quality assurance company in Australia.

NRI is committed to creating a sustainable future society by fulfilling its social responsibilities. As a result, NRI was selected to the Dow Jones Sustainability World Index for the third consecutive year. NRI also issued Sustainability-Linked Bonds to create new value for a variety of stakeholders wishing to increase their sustainable finance holdings.

“While times have certainly been trying in the past year, NRI has continued to innovate and drive the financial technology industry forward, and we are honored by IDC recognition again for doing so,” said Shigeki Hayashi, Senior Executive Managing Director of NRI. “We will continue to prioritize the development of new offerings for our valued partners and customers and continue to increase our global footprint.”

IDC’s Fortune 500-style ranking categorizes and evaluates the top global providers of financial technology based on calendar year revenues from financial institutions for hardware, software and/or services.
