The DJSI is a sustainability-related stock price index published annually by S&P Dow Jones Indices LLC in the United States, and is used to assess corporate sustainability from environmental, social, and governance/economic perspectives. In 2023, 321 of approximately 3,500 of the world’s top-ranking companies (38 of which are Japanese) were selected to be included in DJSI World, with five companies (three of which are Japanese) having been selected in the field to which NRI belongs, namely “IT Services & Internet Software Services”.

Following last year, NRI received high marks for its initiatives in categories such as “Information Security/Cybersecurity & System Availability”, “Innovation Management”, and “Climate Change Strategies”, while also scoring higher this year in “Corporate Governance”, “Tax Strategy”, and “Attracting and Retaining Human Talent”, areas in which the Company made aggressive strides in FY2023.
