Takeshi Shimamura worked for a bank for about six and a half years and mainly engaged in asset management business. He was mainly in charge of selecting assets managers, especially related to hedge funds and equities, and product structuring. After studying in the United States and internships at an investment bank and a PE fund, Mr. Shimamura joined NRI in 2012. After joining NRI, he specializes in Asian macro-economy, financial market and capital market and in business strategy of commercial banks and investment banks, especially in Asia. Mr. Shimamura graduated Beta Gamma Sigma from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business (MBA with Honors). He also has C.M.A of Japan.
