After graduating from the School of Bioscience and Biotechnology, Tokyo Insititute of Technology in 2012, Akira Yokouchi joined NRI in the same year.
He has been engaged in both institutional and factual research concerning home healthcare, nursing care coordination, and online medical care; providing support related to public affairs, including drug pricing, vaccines, and access to medicines; enhancing productivity by promoting digital transformation (DX) and business process reengineering (BPR) in the fields of medical care, nursing, childcare, and welfare; and analyzing public Personal Health Record (PHR) data concerning nursing care prevention and lifestyle-related disease prevention. He has also supported the social implementation of digital health solutions and has been engaged in a wide range of healthcare-related research and studies, new business/system planning, and strategy development. Most recently, he has been providing consulting services on healthcare broadly, encompassing child-rearing and welfare.
