Ryoji Kashiwagi is a senior researcher of Financial Market & Innovation Research Department. He has over 20 years of experience in the Japanese financial sector, primarily in government projects including technology development, policy package for industrial development, and business strategy in both manufacturing and information technology industries.

In 2008, Mr. Kashiwagi joined Financial IT solutions division where he successfully led IT business strategy analysis and technology impact assessment. Additionally, he was responsible for various projects including open innovation business planning, securities management system conversion and financial IT investment strategy.

Mr. Kashiwagi was a member of Fintech study group at the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry.
