Profile

After earning his degree from the Graduate School of Life and Environmental Sciences at the University of Tsukuba, Kazuyuki Kobayashi joined NRI in 2005.
He has supported projects focused on the reform and privatization of government and public organizations, as well as the transformation of infrastructure companies. Currently, his efforts are directed towards business strategy and management reform within the transportation and logistics sectors. He specializes in optimizing logistics and supply chain management for both manufacturing and various other industries. As a logistics expert, he also leads in-house R&D initiatives aimed at developing next-generation logistics solutions to tackle challenges such as labour shortages and the push for digitalization.
