Takeshi Shimamura started his career at a financial institution in Japan and mainly engaged in the asset management business such as investment manager selection and product structuring, After graduating from MBA in the US, he joined NRI in 2012. After joining NRI, he was engaged in research and consulting on financial and capital markets and the financial industry (mainly investment banking, commercial banking, and asset management) for nine years. Since 2021, he has been in charge of global strategy formulation and cross-border M&A in the Global Strategy Department. He graduated from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business (MBA with Honors). He also has C.M.A of Japan.
