Profile

After completing the Master’s program from the Department of Architecture, Graduate School of Engineering, University of Tokyo in 1995, Shingo Mochimaru joined NRI. He was initially involved in studies on private-sector activities for government agencies, formulating master plans for urban development, and developing tourism promotion plans for local governments. His work also included supporting the launch of new businesses for the private sector and providing advisory services for PPP/PFI projects. Over the years, he has also been involved in the development and operation of infrastructure and real estate, utilizing digital technology to promote travel and tourism, as well as supporting new business initiatives. Currently, he is engaged in research on digital urban infrastructures at the NRI Center for Strategic Management & Innovation.
