Wrap Platform (WPF) is a shared-use platform that supports the operational lifecycle of discretionary investment (wrap) services, covering everything from contract, trading, and fee management to transaction, balance, and performance management, as well as external reporting requirements such as submissions to the Japan Investment Advisers Association.

In addition to its core standard functions, WPF offers optional capabilities including investment report generation, standardized data file delivery, periodic fixed-amount redemption, and support for a wide range of investment management requirements such as foreign mutual funds, ETFs, and USD-denominated portfolios.

Its modular architecture enables firms to flexibly expand functionality in phases based on evolving business needs.

As part of its standard service offering, WPF provides comprehensive operational support, including incident response and notification, ongoing service quality maintenance and improvement, and help desk support to ensure stable and reliable platform operations.

How it works

  • Contract setup and onboarding: Contract information management enables centralized administration of account applications, registrations, updates, and other contract-related processes required to initiate investment management services.
  • Portfolio operation and daily operations: Standard functions for order and trade management, as well as transaction, balance, and performance management, support day-to-day operational monitoring, inquiries, and operational decision-making.
  • Fee calculation and recalculation upon condition changes: WPF standardizes operational workflows for fee calculation and condition-based adjustments through fee management and mandatory correction/recalculation instructions.
  • Investor reporting and information delivery: Optional functions for investment report generation and standardized data file delivery support investor communications and reporting operations.

External and regulatory reporting: WPF includes standard functionality for reporting to industry organizations such as the Japan Investment Advisers Association, helping streamline and standardize external reporting processes.
