Profile

After graduating from the School of Energy Science at Kyoto University, Daisuke Tanaka joined NRI in 2002. He is currently a Principal in the Health Care & Service Business Consulting Department.
At NRI, after working in ICT and internet business, he focused on consulting in business, market entry, and customer strategy within the cashless, FinTech, blockchain, and Web3 domains.
From February 2019 to February 2023, he served as a member of the Industrial Structure Council's Commerce Distribution and Industrial Safety Policy Group and the Installment Transactions Subcommittee under the Ministry of Economy, Trade, and Industry.
