- Research & management consultation services in fields of Government and Manufacturing
Established in 2008, the NRI Moscow branch, the only Japanese strategic consulting firm with a branch office in Moscow, makes recommendations to the Russian government on industrial and regional development, supports their development strategies, and supports Japanese companies’ expansion into Russia and CIS (Commonwealth of Independent States) countries.
Russia is accelerating its efforts to grow its economy through digital economic policies while reforming its industrial structure by shifting away from a natural resource dependent economy, improving the competitiveness of its manufacturing industry, substituting imports, and developing the Far East. The NRI Moscow branch has increased its presence as a consulting firm in the rapidly growing Russian market by supporting public sector projects aimed at regional economic development. These include the Moscow City Expansion Strategy, St. Petersburg City Development Strategy, and the Republic of Tatarstan Development Strategy, as well as Russia’s first special economic zone designated port development plan in the Far East.
In the private sector, NRI Moscow also provides consulting services to Japanese and Russian companies on business development and support for expansion into the Russian and CIS markets. It also supports the creation of new business opportunities for Japanese companies by promoting projects related to both the Russian government and Japan-Russia economic cooperation. In addition, NRI Moscow plays a role in connecting the Russian government and Japanese companies.
