Dow Jones Sustainability World Index
The Dow Jones Sustainability World Index, the world’s first ESG stock index, is jointly developed by S&P Dow Jones Indices LLC in the United
States and RobecoSAM AG in Switzerland. Companies with excellent sustainability are selected for inclusion on the index based on economic, environmental, and
social assessment.
DJSI World ranks the top 3,500 companies in the world by market capitalization. NRI has been selected for six consecutive years since September 2018.
Dow Jones Sustainability Asia Pacific Index
The Dow Jones Sustainability World Index, the world’s first ESG stock index, is jointly developed by S&P Dow Jones Indices LLC in the United
States and RobecoSAM AG in Switzerland.
Companies with excellent sustainability are selected for inclusion on the index based on economic, environmental, and social assessment . DJSI Asia
Pacific ranks the top 600 companies in the Asia-Pacific region by market capitalization.

MSCI ESG Leaders Index*
This index, developed by MSCI in the United States, consists of companies that are highly appraised for their ESG efforts. NRI has been selected for eight consecutive years since June 2016.
FTSE4Good Index Series
FTSE, a subsidiary of the London Stock Exchange, developed this index to measure the performance of companies that meet globally recognized corporate responsibility standards, and to facilitate investment in those companies . NRI has been selected for 18 consecutive years since September 2006.
MSCI Japan ESG Select Leaders*
This index, developed by MSCI in the United States, consists of companies with relatively high ESG rankings in each industry from among the top 500 Japanese companies by market capitalization. NRI has been selected for seven consecutive years since July 2017.
MSCI Japan Empowering Women (WIN) Select Index*
This index, developed by MSCI in the United States, calculates scores in a multifaceted way based on disclosed corporate information and data about the employment of female workers disclosed according to the Act on Promotion of Women’s Participation and Advancement in the Workplace . It chooses companies in each industry that are recognized for encouraging women’s participation . NRI has been selected for seven consecutive years since July 2017.
FTSE Blossom Japan Index
This index, developed by FTSE Russell (a member of the London Stock Exchange Group), is composed of Japanese companies with excellent ESG performance . NRI has been selected for seven consecutive years since July 2017.
FTSE Blossom Japan Sector Relative Index
This index, developed by FTSE Russell (a member of the London Stock Exchange Group), is composed of Japanese companies with excellent ESG performance in each sector. NRI has been selected for three consecutive years since March 2022.
S&P/JPX Carbon Efficient Index
This environmental index, developed by S&P Dow Jones Indices LLC in the United States, gives greater weight to constituents with high carbon efficiency and sufficient disclosure of carbon emissions information. NRI has been selected for six consecutive years since September 2018.
Sompo Sustainability Index
This index consists of approximately 300 Japanese companies with excellent ESG performance. It evaluates environmental practices through the Buna no Mori Environmental Questionnaire conducted by Sompo Risk Management Inc. , and social and governance practices through the Integrex Survey conducted by Integrex Inc. NRI has been selected for twelve consecutive years since August 2012.
Nadeshiko Brand
Nadeshiko Brand is a joint initiative by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry and the Tokyo Stock Exchange (TSE) to introduce TSE-listed enterprises that are outstanding in terms of encouraging women’s success in the workplace as attractive stocks to investors who place emphasis on improving corporate value in the mid- and long-term . NRI has been selected for six consecutive years from 2017 to 2022.
Morningstar Japan ex-REIT Gender Diversity Tilt Index
A gender diversity index developed by Morningstar in the United States.
Companies that have a gender diversity policy permeated in their corporate culture and companies that promise equal opportunities to employees regardless of gender are selected. NRI has been selected from 2023.

Eruboshi (Highest level)
Among the companies that formulate action plans and submit notification that plans have been determined, the Eruboshi certification is given by the Minister of Health, Labour and Welfare to companies that meet a certain standard and showed excellence in initiatives to promote women’s participation and advancement in the workplace based on the Act on Promotion of Women’s Participation and Advancement in the Workplace. NRI received Eruboshi certification (Level 3, the highest level ) in 2017.
Certified Health & Productivity Management Outstanding Organizations Recognition Program (White 500)
The Certified Health & Productivity Management Outstanding Organizations Recognition Program recognizes organizations with particularly outstanding strategic health and productivity management program efforts for maintaining their employees’ health from a management perspective. It was established by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry in FY 2016. NRI has been recognized by this program for four consecutive years since February 2017 in the large enterprise category (White 500).

This certification is awarded to companies that support parenting according to the Act on Advancement of Measures to Support Raising Next-Generation
Children. The Kurumin Mark is for companies that have formulated and submitted action plans in line with the Act on Advancement of Measures to Support
Raising Next-Generation Children, and that met specific criteria, including achieving goals according to the action plan. Among these, the special Platinum
Kurumin Certification is given to companies that are engaged in higher-level efforts.
NRI received the Kurumin Mark for five consecutive terms since 2007, and NRI received Platinum Kurumin Certification in 2018.

NRI received ISO 9001 certification, an international standard for quality management systems, in January 2002 for information system building projects at or above a certain scale.
IT service management system (ISO/IEC 20000)
NRI received ISO/IEC 20000 certification, an international IT service management system standard, for all five data centers it owns and manages.
Information security management system (ISO/IEC 27001)
All of NRI’s data centers and many of its systems businesses have received ISO/IEC 27001 certification, an international information security management system standard for improving operational quality in information systems.

NRI Cloud, the IT solution infrastructure operated by NRI, has been granted ISO/IEC 27001 certification as well as ISO/IEC 27017 (which adds a distinctive cloud service perspective to ISO/IEC 27001), an international standard for information security management systems. NRI Cloud is an original IT solution infrastructure used to operate systems developed by NRI for individual financial institutions and companies, as well as services provided for joint use, in finance and a range of other fields.
Management and Operations (M&O) Stamp of Approval Program
Three of our data centers (Tokyo Data Center I, Yokohama Data Center II , and Osaka Data Center II) have received the Management and Operations (M&O) Stamp of Approval, a global standard for data center operation determined by the Uptime Institute, a private-sector organization in the United States. This ensures a world-class level of trust. Our Tokyo Data Center I was the first organization in Japan to receive this certification (in December 2014).
Privacy Mark
NRI has received PrivacyMark certification (for conformance to personal information protection management systems) regarding its management of personal information, including social security “my number.”
Environmental management system (ISO 14001)
All five of the data centers owned and managed by NRI have received ISO 14001 certification, an international standard for environmental management systems. Our major offices are also implementing NRI-EMS, NRI’s original environmental management system.

NRI was selected for the fifth consecutive year as an A List company, the highest rating given by CDP, an international non-profit organization on global environmental issues, in its FY2023 climate change survey (CDP Climate Change Questionnaire).
NRI Selected to Leaderboard for Fifth Consecutive Year in CDP Supplier Engagement Rating
NRI was listed, as a company proactively engaged in climate change initiatives throughout the supply chain, on the Leaderboard of the 2023 “Supplier Engagement Rating” (“SER”), an environmental issue-related information disclosure platform published by CDP.

NRI Selected as an A List Company, the Highest Rating, in the CDP Climate Change Survey for the Fourth Consecutive Year
NRI was selected for the fourth consecutive year as an A List company, the highest rating given by CDP, an international non-profit organization on global environmental issues, in its FY2022 climate change survey (CDP Climate Change Questionnaire). This is in recognition of NRI's climate change strategy, response, and information disclosure, which are suitable for a global leader.

NRI selected to the Leaderboard of CDP’s Supplier Engagement Ratings as a top-rated company for two consecutive years
NRI has been recognized for two consecutive years in the Supplier Engagement Leaderboard. This is the highest rating assigned to companies in the 2020
Supplier Engagement Ratings by CDP, an information disclosure platform related to environmental issues.
The Supplier Engagement Ratings only assess companies based on questions from the CDP climate change survey that pertain to engagement with
suppliers.
In the 2020 Supplier Engagement Ratings, the 396 companies comprising approximately the top 7% were selected to the Leaderboard. Eighty-three of these
companies were from Japan, including NRI.
NRI has been named to the Leaderboard for two consecutive years since 2019.
NRI selected as Silver Class for the first time in the Sustainability Award 2021
NRI was selected as a Silver Class Company for the first time in the Sustainability Award 2021 by S&P Global, a global ESG investment research and
assessment institution in the United States. NRI was selected as a Bronze Class company in 2020. Every year, S&P Global assesses the
sustainability of major companies worldwide based on the three aspects of economy, environment, and society, and awards the top 15% of companies in each
industry Gold, Silver, and Bronze Class according to their scores.
In the 2021 awards, 7,032 of the world’s largest companies in 61 industries were evaluated, and 70 of those companies (including six Japanese
companies) were selected as Gold Class, 70 companies (including six Japanese companies) were selected as Silver Class, and 90 companies (including eight
Japanese companies) were selected as Bronze Class. Furthermore, six companies including NRI were selected as companies with an excellent record in the
Silver Class or higher in the IT services industry.
NRI makes CDP’s A List for the second year in a row for leading efforts against climate change
NRI was selected a this year’s CDP A List (CDP 2020) by the international non-profit organization CDP. The A List is CDP’s highest rating, and
this was the second consecutive year that NRI made the A List. NRI was recognized for its global leadership on strategy, action, and disclosure concerning
climate change.
Among the 9,526 companies that disclosed environmental information in the climate change sector, the top 270 companies made the CDP A List. Fifty-three
Japanese companies including NRI were selected.
Award for Excellence in Corporate Disclosure: IT Service / Software industry (12th time) and Disclosure to Individual Investors (first time)
NRI was selected an Award for Excellence in Corporate Disclosure (IT Service / Software) in 2020, its fourth consecutive year. It was also selected the

The Securities Analysts Association of Japan aims to encourage disclosure with this award, particularly the voluntary and proactive disclosure of
information by companies. It evaluates the quality, volume, timing, and other aspects of disclosure by companies to select the top winner in each
industry every year, as well as three winners each for the Emerging Markets and Disclosure to Individual Investors awards.
NRI selected No.1 Best For-Profit Think Tank in the Global Go To Think Tank Index Report for the first time
NRI was selected as the No. 1 think tank in the Best For-Profit Think Tank category by the University of Pennsylvania’s Think Tanks and Civil
Societies Program (TTCSP), part of the Joseph H. Lauder Institute of Management and International Studies of the Wharton School of Business, for the first
time.
The report does not consider profit, but rather focuses on the core functions and nature of think tanks themselves. The ranking surveys individuals and
organizations in considering nominees. Some main criteria are impact to society, quality of management leadership, employee quality, number of publications,
quality of policy proposals , and ideas that contribute to society.

NRI selected to the Leaderboard of CDP’s supplier engagement ratings as a top-rated company for the first time
NRI has been recognized for two consecutive years in the Supplier Engagement Leaderboard. This is the highest rating assigned to companies in the 2019

The Supplier Engagement Ratings only assess companies based on questions from the CDP climate change survey that pertain to engagement with
suppliers.The 2019 Supplier Engagement Rankings assessed more than 4,800 companies around the world, and only the 159 companies comprising the top 3% were
selected to the Leaderboard. Twenty-eight of these companies were from Japan, including NRI.
NRI earns SAM Bronze Class distinction in the Sustainability Award 2020 for the first time
NRI earned SAM Bronze Class distinction in the Sustainability Award 2020, a sustainability assessment conducted by global sustainable investment research
and assessment company RobecoSAM.
Every year RobecoSAM assesses the economic, environmental, and social sustainability of companies, and awards Gold, Silver, and Bronze Class
distinction to those with particularly outstanding performance. These results are then published in the RobecoSAM Sustainability Yearbook . In 2020
RobecoSAM assessed 4,710 major companies around the world (in 61 industries) and gave Bronze Class distinction or higher to 220 companies globally, 18 of
which were from Japan including NRI.
NRI makes CDP’s A List for the first time for leading efforts against climate change
NRI was selected a this year’s CDP A List (CDP 2019) by the international non-profit organization CDP. The A List is CDP’s highest rating, and
this was the second consecutive year that NRI made the A List. NRI was recognized for its global leadership on strategy, action, and disclosure concerning
climate change.
The survey of climate change by CDP covers more than 8,400 companies with the highest market capitalization in the world, and a score of A through D- is
published based on an assessment of companies’ efforts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and efforts to alleviate climate change.
Companies with particularly excellent strategies and actions to address climate change are chosen for the CDP A List. In CDP 2019, 179 companies accounting
for the top two percent made the A List. Thirty-eight Japanese companies including NRI were selected.

CDP is an international, non-profit organization providing the only global system for companies and cities to measure, disclose, manage, and share vital environmental information. NRI was awarded a position on the 2015 Climate Disclosure Leadership Index.
Excellence Award at the Ninth Work-Life Balance Awards
NRI was honored with the Excellence Award at the Ninth Work-Life Balance Awards, as selected by the Council for Promotion of Work-Life Balance, Japan
Productivity Center.
This award program is intended to spotlight practices in which outstanding results are achieved at a company or organization that helps individual employees
achieve a proper work-life balance, and great contributions made to local communities and society.
Corporate Governance of the Year 2017
Tokyo Governor Prize
NRI received the Tokyo Governor Prize, which is part of the Corporate Governance of the Year 2017 awards held by the Japan Association of Corporate
Directors, in February 2018. These awards are aimed at supporting companies that are utilizing corporate governance to achieve healthy growth over the mid-
to long-term.
NRI was chosen for the Tokyo Governor Prize because it implements advanced ESG initiatives in addition to its corporate governance practices.
FY 2017 (23rd) Award for Excellence in Corporate Disclosure
Computer Software division
In this award, securities analysts—who know a great deal about the current states of the companies they handle—assess corporate disclosure based
on documents disclosed by the company, interviews with IR divisions and managers, and other information.
NRI was selected the FY 2017 (23rd) Award for Excellence in Corporate Disclosure in the Computer Software division.

FinTech Rankings 2018 No. 9
The FinTech Rankings, released annually by IDC Financial Insights, are one of the most prominent rankings for technology vendors in the financial services
industry . It represents companies that derive more than 1/3 of their global revenue from financial institutions . IDC Financial Insights assesses
and ranks entries according to calendar year revenues , and ratios comprised by financial IT services, based on its own surveys, original research, and
market analyses.
NRI was No. 9 in the FinTech Rankings 2018, and was named to the top 10 for nine consecutive years since 2009.
2017 Japan Managed Security Service Provider of the Year Award
The Awards recognize companies that have demonstrated outstanding performance and superior services in the preceding fiscal year, and are given by Frost & Sullivan analysts who evaluate market participants on the basis of five selection criteria: market share, sales and revenue growth, business development strategy, breadth of services portfolio and innovative solutions, and leadership in product and technology innovation. NRI SecureTechnologies, Ltd., a subsidiary of NRI, received the 2017 Japan Managed Security Service Provider of the Year Award from the research and consulting firm Frost & Sullivan.
